The room had a lovely layout with a very cozy and comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. A nice touch was the provision of large mugs for coffee and tea, along with complimentary water and biscuits, which were appreciated. The location was excellent, offering easy access to the town centre and beautiful canal walks. the room could have benefited from more modern amenities, and the noise from the adjoining areas was slightly disruptive at times. while there was a nice garden, it would be great to have more food options available.

the staff were super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. we had a cozy little room with a comfy bed and everything was super clean. parking was a breeze and we loved walking to town. hot water in the shower was amazing, and the tea/coffee facilities were a nice touch. overall, a chill spot for our stay.
the only thing was that it could have used a bit more light in the room, and we wouldve liked somewhere to hang the loo roll.

The king-size bed provided a comfortable sleeping experience, allowing me to rest well after a long day exploring.
The shower head was fixed in a position that made it challenging to get a decent angle for water flow, leading to an awkward shower experience.

Family with children strong choice
Staff was super friendly! One memorable moment was when the owner made sure I got a comfy bed and handled everything when I checked in.
Rates was a bit on the high side, but it wasn’t gone overboard.

staying here was a treat as it’s just a few steps from Artworx Gallery and very convenient for early morning walks by the canal, making it a perfect spot for my weekend city strolls.

The king-size bed was a real perk, making it comfortable enough to crash after a long day. Plus, the free parking was handy for those of us who travel like we’re on the run.
The shower head was stuck in a bad position, forcing me to handle it manually to get any decent angle—definitely a hassle. Good luck keeping the bathroom floor dry since the shower curtain likes to billow inwards. I found the noise from the courtyard disruptive, especially on busy nights when revelers lingered outside. The ground floor room felt a bit cramped, lacking ventilation, and the large window was concerning since it felt like a potential exit rather than just a view. A few blackout curtains would go a long way in blocking those disruptive outside lights. the chain on the sink plug was broken, which I reported but never fixed. It felt like the place had potential but needed a little more polish and care.

Had a nice stay, and I loved the comfy bed and the clean bathroom that made relaxing easy. They had a quaint garden area for unwinding. Live entertainment that was a fun surprise! The only downside was the lack of food options, so maybe bring some snacks. 😊
